A Newly Remodeled Office And Retail Development In Sloan’s Lake Has A New Owner

DENVER – May 25, 2017 – Abington Emerson Investments, LLC once again partnered with Centre Point Properties, a prominent Denver real estate operator, to acquire Sloans 1525 mixed-use (office/retail) property within a high-profile St. Anthony’s Hospital redevelopment in Denver, Colorado.

The project stands five stories tall, with approximately 50,000 square feet of office space and 6,000 square feet of retail. Both are already filling up and include a Starbucks that opened on the retail pad, and co-working concept Goosetail Spaces preparing to open in the renovated building.

The St. Anthony’s Hospital relocation has created an unparalleled redevelopment opportunity on eight (8) contiguous blocks in a gentrifying, central Denver neighborhood. The $300 million masterplan community will feature 1,000 residential units (condominiums, townhomes, and apartments), neighborhood office, retail, and a movie theater. Sloans 1525 property is a part of Block 7 that also houses popular Alamo movie theater (not part of the acquisition).

Abington Emerson and Centre Point are looking to launch an extensive leasing campaign for the property while completing the buildout of the office building with ready to move-in office spaces, a gym and a game room to be used as tenant amenities.

“We are very pleased about being a part of St. Anthony’s redevelopment and working on another project with Centre Point,” said Curt Christensen, who runs acquisitions for Abington Emerson in the Mountain region.

This is a second joint venture for Abington Emerson and Centre Point in the Denver area, where they recently acquired Villa South Shopping Plaza in Lakewood.

The transaction was covered in press including the article below.
